Arthur Ashmore died prematurely in 1971. The business since then has been carried on by Colin Hodgetts, who learned the craft under Arthur at college and later at the business. Since then the business has progressed through the years making apparel for the that special occasion, and for the customer who was looking for something different whether it be in design, or the fitting that comes with a custom made garment.
We also carry on the tradition that Arthur started in the dancing world, making many world champions over the years, and we continue to carry on that heritage.
